Between Here and There 1987

A projection installation of images of leopards taken from a wildlife magazine. Each image is projected anamorphically within a darkened blue space and out of register within a drawn outline of the animals on the wall. There is a displacement between the figure drawn as a map-like presence and the luminous presence of the wild cats projected within the confined space.
